Joy Ang is an illustrator and cartoonist living in Bellevue, Washington. She grew up in Calgary, Alberta and graduated from the Visual Communication stream of Alberta College of Art and Design in 2007. She got her start making art professionally with Udon Comics and got into the gaming industry with BioWare. She went on to do freelancing full-time and co-created two volumes of The Anthology Project; a collection of short comics by various talented artists. Lately Joy has been illustrating children’s books and working as a character designer and title card painter on Adventure Time with Cartoon Network.
Jared Blando
Jared Blando is a professional freelance cartographer and conceptual artist who works in the RPG, book, and gaming industry. Though he is best known for his RPG fantasy maps, he is also prominent in the board-game and publishing industry as well. His work is generally known for its organic and elaborate design elements which give his pieces a sense of age and depth. He has a penchant for historical works (both art and literature), a strong love of travelling, miniature gaming, as well as cats and gluten-free pizza. Michele Carter
Michele Carter has been editing roleplaying games since 1992 and still considers it her dream job. She’s contributed to numerous Origins Award and ENnie Award-winning 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons projects, as well as a multitude of other roleplaying and board games. When not editing, Michele is usually playing games, reading books and comics, watching television, and spending time with her husband and cats.
Daniel Gelon
Daniel Gelon started his career doing professional illustration in 1990, working in the fantasy and hobby gaming genres. Daniel was one of the original Magic: The Gathering artists illustrating over 50 cards and has been an art director for several RPGs including Dungeons & Dragons, Feng Shui and Ars Magica. Besides doing graphic design on various gaming books and packages, he has also designed around a dozen logos for DC Comics including the Green Lantern logo.
Jordan Grimmer
Based in the UK, Jordan is currently working as a concept artist in the video games industry while also working as a freelance illustrator specializing in book and album cover illustration. His main passion is painting big, colourful fantasy environments, much like what he had the chance to create for Dusk City Outlaws.

A native of the Seattle area, Daniel Helmick was surprised to discover that his favorite hobby had landed squarely in his backyard in the 2000s. Daniel has worked for Wizards of the Coast in the Dungeons & Dragons Insider and R&D studios in production, data management, editing, design, development, and research. Caitlin Hodgins
A graduate of the University of Washington, Caitlin Hodgins is a mummy-slaying, gnome-sized adventurer who enjoys tabletop gaming and roleplaying. She is also an aspiring writer, and an IT manager in Seattle. Mesmerized by fantasy and science fiction, she spends most of her time reading, writing, and daydreaming of far-off worlds. Breaking into game design came by chance after joining a tight-knit band of adventurers who had experience with the art of making games. Working with Scratchpad Publishing is Caitlin’s first foray into game design and dedicated playtesting.
